It all started for me watching those movie stars of the 60s. It was all those classical movies and still pictures that inspired me into a life of photography.
My grandmother loved those classical films and as a child I used to watch them with her, I was fascinated how these images appeared on this square box and used to think that there were people in the TV.
In 1983 my family and I moved from England to New York. I attended Franklyn D Roosevelt HS in Brooklyn and that's where I took my first class in photography.
My studies of Richard Avedon and Ansel Adams was the pivotal point in my career path. I knew then that photography would be a huge part of my life and has been ever since.
